I had been looking for some good VOIP service when it was suggested I try Qwest. So I did. Unfortunately, it was not the best decision I have ever made. From the start I had problems. LOTS of service interuptions and the occasional call not coming in like it should have. Plus when I called for help, either I had to wait for days or nothing was done and I would have to try to call back. If and when I did get the service running, it would only last for a few days before the problems started all over again. And then when the bill came, I was billed more than what the salesperson told me I would be paying. WHAT? I never could get that part fixed either. I was told to pay it. I won't recommend Qwest VOIP to anyone.

I had Qwest for 4-5 yrs. We had issues with them off and on during that time. Then we had our final straw with the company when they kept suddenly saying we owed this and owed that. There service is horrible and the customer service is not the greatest either. They all need allot of training and being able to deal with customers. When you try to call after hours or before they open, all you get is someone from one of there stations in India or somewhere and trying to talk to someone who does not understand a word you are saying.

VOIP service is a rip off and i would not tell anyone to use it. I would not tell anyone to use Qwest either. They are rude and have no concept of customer service at all. They are over priced and over rated ..

Overall I have been quite pleased with Qwest's VOIP service. The best part of the service is definitely the price. You just cannot go wrong using this service at this price. As with all VOIP services I have ever used the call quality can vary from call to call. For the most part I have had pretty decent reception and the people I have talked to using this service have told me that I sound good. I recommend Qwest for anyone looking for an affordable VOIP service!

Our experience with Qwest VOIP was a very short one. As current Qwest customers, we decided to order the service due to the attractive price. The needed equipment arrived in a few days and I followed the instructions to hook everything up. Things worked okay for 2 days- the quality was “so so” as would be expected with VOIP. After a few days, everything went downhill. First, nobody could call into our number. Then, the service stopped working completely. We called Qwest and they gave us the runaround about the order being incorrect and our phone number was never ported. After a week of arguing about the billing, order issues, and failed promises, we gave up and told Qwest to drop the whole thing. VOIP may be workable with Qwest, but their service and follow-through is horrid.
