Nextiva has three plans for small businesses. It offers lots of features and scalability, so it can adapt to your needs if your business grows. Here is a breakdown of each plan. The starting prices are those available as of writing this Nextiva review, with the current discounts. If you read the fine print, you’ll see that these prices don’t include applicable taxes and fees such as the $99 activation fee the company applies to accounts of two users or fewer.


Price Plans
Essential: prices start at $17.95/month per user 

This plan offers unlimited calling and internet fax, free local and toll-free numbers, and 24/7 customer support. You can pay on a month-by-month basis or choose an agreement with variable length, from 12 to 36 months. 

Professional: prices start at $21.95/month per user

Just like the Essential and the subsequent plan, this one can be purchased monthly or by entering into an agreement for up to 36 months. The Professional plan includes everything in the Essential plus unlimited video meetings and conference calls, business SMSs, voicemail to email, and team collaboration features. 

Enterprise: prices start at $31.95/month per user

All the features in the Professional plan are included in the Enterprise. This tier offers the most advanced features Nextiva has in store: call recordings and voice analytics, single sign-on management, audio or video conference recordings, and Microsoft and Salesforce integrations. 

Features

Nextiva offers unlimited and international calling, toll-free numbers, and a robust set of features that makes business call management easier. The unlimited calling option applies throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico. Each account gets one toll-free number. There is no need to purchase or have existing hardware equipment. 

Visual voicemail: access your business voicemail directly from your email account, powered by AI, these transcriptions are precise and available as text messages too. 

Business text messages: send and check your business text messages from any device without add-ons. 

Call queues: answer more calls, direct callers, or play announcements. 

Call recordings: access this cloud-based feature whenever you need to record your business calls. 

Auto attendants: this virtual receptionist takes calls for you and allows you to set up an options menu. 

Team messaging: this feature allows your team members to exchange messages via chat.

Phone support is available 24/7 and live chat support is available Monday through Friday from 5 Am to 6 PM and at weekends from 5 AM until 4 PM.

One of Nextiva’s pledges is ‘no downtime for your business’. The company says it strives for 99.999% uptime and relies on carrier-grade data centers. The engineering team monitors Nextiva’s network 24/7 to ensure it works seamlessly. Moreover, the company says it informs customers if its network performance is affected by sending them status updates. It also says it uses reliable protocols, policies, and security technologies to protect customers’ data. Some of these include Secure Real-Time Transport Protocol (SRTP), Transport Layer Security (TLS), fraud mitigation features, and regular third-party audits. 

App Support & Integrations

This modern VoIP wouldn’t be complete without an app. This application is available for any mobile device using iOS or Android. It offers unlimited calls and team messaging and has a user-friendly interface. 

Nextiva’s features page states that its VoIP offers numerous integrations with different applications such as CRMs, contact centers, or email providers. On the pricing plan page, you’ll see Microsoft and Salesforce integrations mentioned as part of the Enterprise package. However, they’re not included in the lower tiers.
